Jagjit is an experienced business leader with strong strategic skills, expertise in a wide range of industries, and deep knowledge of the Asia Pacific region. He started his post-MBA career as a management consultant with A.T. Kearney and The Boston Consulting Group, where he provided strategic advice to clients across a wide range of Industrial sectors. Post consulting, Jagjit worked at Moog Inc, a motion control engineering firm, where he had multiple roles including Marketing and Business Development. From 2011 to 2014, Jagjit was based in Shanghai, where he was the General Manager and responsible for all of Moog’s business in China. Jagjit has been a mentor at NTUitive since 2014.

An investment banker, he was the Executive Director in the Investment Banking Division for Southeast Asia, Asia ex-Japan at Nomura. At Nomura, he was part of the transaction team for the buyout of 50% stake in the Hyflux Water Trust to Mitsui Corporation, Japan. He was Managing Director heading the planning function of DBS Group, directing acquisitions, JVs in the Financial Institutions space, and developing organic growth initiatives with commercial, consumer banking, asset management, treasury business units across the key markets.
In 2014, Mr Wong joined forces with Professor Darren Sun, Distinguished Shimizu Professor at Stanford (USA) & CEE, NTU (Singapore) to found a high tech company with the view of building a strong company in Clean Technology.
For 5 years, the company raised nearly $10 million from large MNC and private capital. After A-round funding, he has established a growing presence in Singapore, Indonesia and China by deploying the 3D-printing membranes. The most recent projects involved a 20 MLD plant in municipal application, and a 2800 m3/day industrial wastewater treatment plant. Moving towards larger-scale production capability required engineering design, testing, prototyping. Nanosun will launch into Series B to accelerate product and development and market deployment.

He also conducts customer analytics to devise data-driven strategies and realise opportunities for customer acquisition, development and retention.

Dr. Haodong GU is a joint lecturer for SILC Business School, Shanghai University and UTS Business School. He received a PhD degree from UNSW Australia in 2012 and was employed as a lecturer in the same university from 2013 to 2014.
He joined Shanghai University from 2015 and UTS from 2016. Dr Gu specializes in the area of marketing. More specifically, his interest is behavioral modeling, aiming to bridge constructs and theories from behavioral science with managerially important outcomes to companies.
Dr Gu has a special interest in corporate social responsibility, with years of teaching and research experience in the area. He worked with companies and offered consultations to multiple social entrepreneurial projects initiated by students from Shanghai University and UTS.
